Instead of featuring pieces that have been accepted to
, we are going to be showcasing something even more awesome. Vertex 2!
It has been released and it is pretty fantastic.
For those of you out there who have no idea what Vertex is, it is a educational publication full of great art (both 2D and 3D) along with a ton of tutorials, made by game industry professionals (including a few DA regulars). This publication is entirely FREE, but you can always donate money to help the creators keep this thing going.
I know that this is "Concept" world, and there is a ton of technical talk and 3D work, but if you want to work in games or movies as a concept artist, it will greatly benefit you to at least have a basic understanding of what your modelers have to do. Worry not, they have some pretty nice painting tutorials in there as well.
Since I am sure you all have come to expect awesome art in these features, here are some of the fantastic DA artists that have been showcased in this recent publication:

New(ish) Facebook Page!
Hey there guys and gals!

I decided that I wanted to keep my personal page and art page a little more separate, and hopefully easier to manage.
